about KABELTON
KABELTON is somewhere between techno/electro, abstract rhythms and soundscapes. The sounddesign has a close relation to the composition. Sounds interact and communicate. Every element has its own character and offers a unity, that seems to break through easily. The sounddesign carries the music without being obtrusive. The audience indiviually experiences intimate and authentic sounds and finally finds and expresses its own message. This is a feature of KABELTON´s music: to create an emotional atmosphere with powerful and direct sounds. Although seemingly new and unheard, associations with accoustic reality are evoked. A dense soundworld, that allows enough space, is the result of a longstanding confrontation between every element. He played as a liveact alongside Apparat, Kero, Rex the Dog, Tiefschwarz, Matthias Tanzmann, Robert Görl, Jay Denham and many more.

about luX
The tension between minimal techno and breakcore, luX experienced in Graz, has created a breeding ground for his creative process. luX has nearly archaic visual compositions developed from a cooperation with music. The system (pd-based), that he uses leaves the space, needed to react within the given situations. This creates a dynamic audio-visual interplay. luX uses simple graphic elements, which he defamiliarises as well as by the sound and integrated audio-analysis. It is about keeping the balance between human and machine. luX exclusively produces live and tries a new to tell stories with simple elements. He visualised acts like Amon Tobin, Sutekh, N>E>D, Sergej Auto, Hrvatski, Jackmate, Electric Indigo and many more.

about DRAWVOLUTION by MOMO1030
This time drawvolution presents "STREET CLUB" an urban art installation. Bringing the street into the club. Found objects (often trash) from the streets are installed in the Wirr Untergrund. Old cans, suitcase, wood, chairs or broken skateboards are screwed together to form a long canvas, which will be painted by artists during this night.

MARKANT möchte die Verrenkungen auf der Tanzfläche strapazieren und hat es sich zum Ziel gesetzt, Musik aus den Bereichen Techno und Electro und diverser Sub-Genres zu präsentieren, die nicht nur durch 4/4-Takt und Bassgeschiebe angetrieben wird, sondern die durch kunstvoll eingewobene Klangfetzen und trickreiche Sound-Arrangements glänzt. Um der rhythmischen "Monotonie" entgegenzusteuern werden Einflüsse aus den unterschiedlichsten Ecken herangezogen, um so die genre-üblichen Strukturen explorativ zu erweitern.
