ABOUT STRANGELET

Strangelet is a one-man laptop project of Filip Skubal from Brno, Czech Republic. It is a fusion of ambient drones, soundscapes and modern glitch electronica. The project was born in the middle of 2007 with first artefacts release on his co-founded netlabel Cryoworks. After successful public acceptance he started to live it's own life in (cyber)space.

f ? is the art questioning of the multimedia philosopher Felipe Ribeiro? The poetics of the machinery mistakes and the sinesthetic relations between different gammas of the sensorial palette (video, dance, performance, soundart, music...) conflict with the tension of an environmental intensities sculpture? These harmonies of passions and reasons take us to the composition of a hearing through the body sound to the sound body? With bittersweat humor he is present since the birth of the digital noise scene of Sao Paulo in ZATs like TEMP and Susi In Transe to playing with a filled with viruses computer at festivals like FILE, Bienal de Havana, Tsonami, Tonica?
