Future States: 20 minutes into the future

"20 minutes into the future" - wer mir aus dem Stegreif und ohne Google sagen kann, woher das Zitat kommt, hat seine Jugend wohl ebenso, öhm, aufmerksam verbracht wie ich. Whatever! Future States ist ein interessantes Filmprojekt zum Thema Futurologie.

"Independent Television Service (ITVS) asked 11 renowned and
up-and-coming filmmakers to take the current state of affairs in the
United States, and extrapolate them into stories of the nation in the
not-so-distant future.

The result is FUTURESTATES , a
series of groundbreaking digital shorts. Each episode presents a
different filmmaker’s vision of American society in the not-too-distant
future, fusing an exploration of social issues with elements of
speculative and science fiction."

Das Resultat sind elf Kurzfilme, die sich sehen lassen können: Science-Fiction ohne Aliens und Lasergefechte, in handlicher Länge (unter 20 Minuten). Wär vielleicht mal was für eine 1bm-Filmnacht.
